Subject: Just a little nervous from the fall
It took me awhile to get into this but somewhere during EYES I was hooked.
The sound is good but edgy at times. Sounds like the band was edgy as well.

""however, find Louisville from earlier in the tour...the last five songs from this set are played in Louisville, but L-ville is better."

The Spanish Jam from Louisville doesn't touch the apocalyptic destruction of the one from this night (Fresno). Both Grows are Grows for the ages but Phil is much more bent and sinister in this one. It's downright terrifying.

Listeners beware...no beginners on this one please.

Subject: excellent...but....
another shining example of fine performance, amazing audio quality and separation, equalization of instruments...however, find Louisville from earlier in the tour...the last five songs from this set are played in Louisville, but L-ville is better...more deep creative jams, more cohesive thematic material, some cool atonal and a-rhythmic portions as well...and an amazing 'other one' to boot...always been my fav from the tour

I couldn't agree more with the first reviewer: I've been listening to Jerry for over 15 years and when I heard what he's playing I couldn't believe my ears... the show might not be among the top 10 simply because the other band members are unable to even come close to the level of Jerry... this is Garcia at his peak, every single note touching the far edge of his skill! Listen to believe... get the full version of the show if you can since the first set is just as good!

Subject: PHIL IS ON
oh dang this second set has to be one of my favorites. I'm a real big Phil fan and all night he is just totally in the Zone. The Phil Zone in the second part of the jam in Eyes is sublime.

This truley is the 7th wonder of the world.
7 songs from an awsome time in GD history.
Selland!! The playing here is just un-real.
Jerry's solos are something that, thank god have been put into this time capsule that we can all enjoy. Phil is outstanding and complements Jerry
with every thump!. This little nugget here is the
best I've heard in a while from here.
WRS>LIG is outstanding... a must listen.
Spanish Jam into a real nice jazzy Eyes is amazing. Thank You All involved for this tasty
nugget. It is as Pristene as it gets!!
Add Jerry's soulful China Doll.......
Just put the headphones on and CRANK THIS BEAST UP!!!
